At Lone Star Ranch Outfitters, fencing is a family affair. In the 1950’s and 60’s my Great Grandfather built fences employing my father at $1.25 an hour. Grandpa told my Dad, “If you can keep up with a man, I’ll give you a man’s wages.” Grandpa used to tell a story about how he would go to the hardware store to buy sticks of diatomite and blasting caps for blasting post holes for his fence projects. He said, “Diatomite in the back of the truck, blasting caps in the front. We don’t want to get blown up.” Fence installation and repair has come a long way since those days.

A while back, I installed a new fence in Burnet, County and learned that the old barbed wire fence was installed by my Great Grandfather. I was taken by this and it instilled in me a desire to build things that last. I am proud of the work done by my family over the years and that I am able to carry on that tradition. I still have some of that old Burnett County fence as a reminder.

At Lone Star Ranch Outfitters, we take pride in what we do. We maintain the belief that a man’s word is as good as gold and when we tell you what we can do for you and how it’s going to go, you can bank on it.

From the time I started mowing lawns as a teenager to opening LSRO in 2001, I have done my level best to maintain the work ethic and integrity instilled in me by my Great Grandfather and my parents. We bring these principles to every fencing project we are hired to work on and on top of that, we build a damned good fence.

We install and repair fences in the Central Texas communities of Georgetown, Burnett, Bertram, Liberty Hill, Salado and many others. Please contact us to find out what we can do for you.

We look forward to working with you on your next fencing project.
